Fun new themed contest from projecteducate
Bi-Monthly Shenanigans #1: Artists' BlockAt projecteducate we'd like to try a new type of regular mini contests of sorts where we encourage you to tap into your creative juices and produce some form of art, related to a specific theme or prompt. This first journal is to test the waters, so if you have any recommendations or thoughts on types of contests or challenges you'd like to see, please let us know! The point is that these are quick little contests that also challenge your ability to produce something quickly, so don't fret, we are not expecting masterpieces that would normally take you a month to produce.
Prompt:
Produce a piece of art, whether it be a poem, a painting, a photo, a sketch, etc, that is related to the issue of Artists' Block.

Ever since I made my first aesthetic feature with @team , I've been dying to make one with a dark academia theme, and now its finally here!! For some reason I always end up putting these together when my anxiety is doing weird things, so getting to deep dive into doing an aesthetic feature like this is always SUCH a relief for my brain to focus on. Dark academia is something I have been really loving, so this was so wonderful to put together, I hope you enjoy it! Big thanks to @moonbeam13 for always helping and encouraging and making this feature look even better!!
Finished my second ever embroidery hoop! The first kit was a very simple design, but this second kit gave me a lot of opportunity to practice especially with the satin stitch and back stitch. I still can’t figure out the French knot even though I’ve watched several videos. I think I’m just going to have to start a hoop just to practice certain stitches on :giggle: Orrrrr I could just go with @pinkythepink ’s suggestion and replace French knots with little beads…. I think I’ll spend today putting together some designs on my computer to try on a t-shirt next! I really want to have some cute tshirts with embroidered collars  This kit is by Dimensions, and is of course called “Bee Kind.” The flowers are little pink fabric flowers!
I would love if you would check out my feature collaboration with @team up on their page today!! It's a feature inspired by cottagecore, a trend/genre that has been so comforting to me  If you liked this one, please let me know which trends/genres you'd like to see in a feature like this next!
