I finally got to shoot with Roarie Yum again (roarieyum.tumblr.com/ NSFW link)! Our last shoot was fun but so oppressively humid and overcast! Our newest shoot was the complete opposite; we had beautiful weather! We used tons of beautiful vintage lingerie that I've been storing up and Roarie looked amazing in it with her newly cut short hair! So, that was January's shoot along with Tracy's studio photos I'm uploading now. February will be a little frantic, like I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to make it or if I'm ever going to have time away from my computer because of editing, but it sure is going to be a fun one! In a couple of weeks, I'll be shooting with Laura Kirkpatrick, the runner-up from the petite season of America's Next Top Model as well as a contestant in their All-Stars show! I'm super excited about this opportunity, and she seems like the sweetest girl! I'll be using some fabulous team members that I've used before and it should be a blast! Then, that same weekend, I'll be shooting a dark themed mermaid dress from Ricky Lindsay with Katrinna Wallace modelling it. But this time, we'll really be at the beach! Mermaids at the beach, novel idea, right? And then, the next weekend, I'll be attending a fashion showcase from a local designer Dolly Donshey with her line Monstruosite! I'm very excited about this, because I'll finally be able to meet some other local photographers (believe me, I never get out of the house to meet new people!). Then, the following day I'll be shooting Roarie Yum (again!) along with Maddie Hall (you might remember her from my Swan Song photo series) for the F/W '13 Monstruosite lookbook! It's my first time being hired for a lookbook, so it's something I am very excited to do as you can imagine!

Well, well, well. Here we are 4 months after the last edition of 15 under 50, oops. BUT, here's some extra pretty art to make up for that ;)
15 Under 50 Feature 18 + Update
I'm back with another edition of 15 under 50! Its been a weird last couple of months personally, filled with both wonderful and uh not so wonderful things. I've been trying my best to get in a better place mentally this year, and some days I feel as though I'm truly making it. I feel like me, productive and filled with joy for the small things but others just oof. I'm really struggling with brain fog, I'm not sure if its a result of having covid in January or simply the amount of anxiety and grief I've dealt with this year. I tend towards the latter because it does seem to lift when I'm doing better. My coping skills have (unfortunately for my bank account) turned back towards collecting and I have a really nice vinyl collection now as well as too many books to fit on my bookshelves, oops! Towards the end of October, there was an incident where I had to call the cops because two young men were at the end of my driveway yelling hateful things and then *coincidentally* like 30 minutes

Spooky or Sweet?
I wanted to share some lovely Autumnal pieces I've come across recently - some spooky and some sweet (and a few that I would argue are both)! Autumn is my favorite season, and we've finally gotten a couple of cooler mornings recently that have really put me in the mood - for Fall that is.
