The Modern Artemis

This portion of Emily's images were very me with the forest environment, but less fairytale with the edgier and more modern styling and the expressions. We had her styled up and out in the environment, and I had taken about 50 shots or so, and it just wasn't doing anything for me. I then suggested we try to work on it with more of a story-line in mind, it took me awhile before I jokingly suggested that she should be a modern Artemis out in the woods, perhaps stalking prey. I was sure she thought I was crazy, but that was what did it. So, here is my interpretation of a modern Artemis figure. It would have been even more awesome if we had had a bow and arrow though! Ironically, I had a friend mention that she reminded her of The Hunger Games, which made me think of Katniss, and which in turn made me parallel Katniss with Artemis (bow and arrows, independent mentalities, strength) and I was very pleased.
