If You'd Bother to Make a Call

I decided to visit Miami last year in November.  I have a couple of photographer friends over there that I wanted to meet, and there was a couple of models I really wanted to work with. One of my shoots fell through last minute, and this one began with a rocky start: big chance of rain and the original location fell through when the road was closed.  Thankfully, Luiza was sweeter than I could have imagined and we drove down to a nearby location she suggested (since she lives in Miami, she actually knows the area)!  The location was basically just a glorified outdoor mall, but the landscaping, including tropical ponds and overgrown vine walls was perfection and immediately made me think of the term "concrete jungle." Luiza was terrific to work with and I am so glad we got to shoot together!
