So, this was a slightly random idea of mine that I fell in love with rather quickly. If you've been following me long enough, you would know that before I was into model photography, I used to draw a lot of mermaids. So, while brainstorming concepts for a pool photoshoot, I started thinking about sequins, and then I started thinking about sequins as scales, and thus the concept of our fashion mermaid was born. This was the original dress I envisioned for this shot, so I was very happy it worked! Katie was the perfect model, you've seen her before, but she's gotten even better! A fiery pale redhead that can work clothes like nobody's business! Our whole team was amazing and I'm so happy with the outcome!
