Dark Matter

While black and white portrait photo's are pretty popular I would say that both the model and photographer did an exceptional job in this piece. She has excellent expression and is in the right pose with the way the light is angled. How did you manage to get the hair to look wispy like that?
A lot of the more recent black/white photo's I've seen have involved very dramatic backgrounds that sadly distract from the model in the foreground, but I would have to say that this is undoubtedly a very simple but elegant work.
